Los Angeles celebrates the 'Guadalupe'

Los Angeles started the tradition 'Guadalupe'. Each year about 80,000 parishioners attend the church of Olvera Street in Los Angeles to commemorate the Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe and sing 'Resume'.
The Catholic fervor will be felt in the Cathedral of Los Angeles on the eve of the celebration of the appearance of the Virgin of Guadalupe, with the celebrations will also take place at Olvera and the Basilica of Placita Mexico. From 8pm, the party will begin with Guadalupe Aztec dances in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (555 W. Temple St.) and inside the enclosure with a music concert with the singing of "Las Mananitas"
Since the opening of the temple in 2002, the celebration was conducted from 4:30 am on December 12, but Archbishop Jose Gomez decided to establish the same schedule of celebrations in the Basilica in Mexico City 481 years ago.
